After a career in teaching, Simon embarked on a highly successful career with one of the world's largest professional staffing firms. He started in London recruiting finance professionals and led large teams across a diverse client base.

He then moved to the Midlands where he set up the regional Executive Search operation. This was extremely successful and led to him becoming the MD of the newly branded Page Executive business in 2010.  In the same year, he was winner of the REC - UK Headhunter of the Year award.  He led the business to more than double in size and become the largest executive search operation in the global group.

He set up Grays Search and Selection and Grays Advisory in 2014 and has built a very strong reputation for providing exceptional customer service, becoming a trusted partner to many leading brands and SMEs in both the public and private sectors. He has recruited at both board and executive level and specialises in Board Level and Non exec roles in both the public and private sector across many Charities and Associations.

Simon was also recently an Independent member of the Nominations Committee for St John Ambulance. This board focuses on the recruitment and sourcing of Trustees and Senior Volunteers.

Raised in Gloucestershire, Miles went North for University and settled in Leeds where he combined an early marketing career, including managing the launch of the first Pret a Manger outside of London, with playing a lot of rugby.  He then joined Michael Page in 1996 and now brings 28 years of recruitment expertise. He served as a Founding Director of NASDAQ-listed Hudson Sales & Marketing UK and Page Executive, and has proven himself as a highly competent senior level generalist operator who has placed all main board level and general management remits in his career, domestically and overseas. In 2010 he took a hiatus to gain industry experience as Head of Resourcing for Barclays UK Retail Bank.  He co-established Adjacency in 2013 and took full ownership in 2023.  Miles is also passionate Trustee of Rugby for Heroes, a UK Charity that helps current and ex-service men and women make the transition back into civilian life, whose patrons are Mike Tindall MBE and Nick Knowles.

Kirsty is Head of Research at Adjacency Executive Search. Starting her career as a graduate trainee at Michael Page, she has an extensive recruitment background working with firms including Goldman Sachs, Deutsche Bank and the Magic Circle law firm Allen & Overy.

After returning to full time work after maternity leave, she has been engaged on a number of assignments, where she has developed excellent working relationships with candidates, receiving very positive feedback.

Having worked for several major international firms such as Goldman Sachs, Kirsty is acutely aware of the importance of any form of interaction with senior level candidates, and will ensure that high levels of diplomacy, discretion and customer service are provided.

She also works with school age children, providing career counselling, including developing their CVs  and interview skills. She was a school Governor of a local Grammar School for 7 years and is currently a Parish Councillor.
